First cooking class and it was great!
Ann is very kind and an excellent cook and her way of teaching is perfect, she leaves you free to work but follows you in every step so you can really learn and practice.
First we went to the market to buy vegetables, shrimps, chicken and fruit and then in her beautiful Thai kitchen we prepare 3 dishes and a sweet: Pad Thai, chicken soup, shrimp’s salad and banana sweet rolls.
The price is good, they also pick you up to your guesthouse and bring you back.

I visit Chiang Rai many times for the nice cool weather during the winter. I decided to stay at Anne guesthouse. I saw that she was offering a thai cooking class and decide to try it out. She drove me and the other customers to the local evening market. I had fun at the market trying out different thai snacks and dessert. We bought back the ingredients to the guesthouse and started the cooking lesson. I learn how to make tom yum krung, pineapple fried rice, and lanna larb. I can not wait to cook it for my family back home in Malaysia. Highly recommend Anne and her cooking course!
This was my first thai cooking lesson. Ann is a great instructor that speak fluent English. Her instruction was clear and easy to follow step by step. We learned how to make pad thai and sticky rice mango. I had so much fun learning to cook with the other customers. It was my biggest highlights in Chiang Rai.
I decided to pick chiang rai cooking class since it was cheaper than the other classes offered in Chang Rai. I was the only student for that day so I had Anne full attention. Anne is highly knowledgeable about Thai cooking since she owned two Thai restaurant before. This course was a great value for my money. I will come back and learn more dishes from Anne.
I took this class with my friend while staying at the guesthouse owned by Anne. She was a wonderful cook and host. It is hard to find good Thai food back at home. After learning from Anne, I’m confident to recreate these dishes back at home. Thank you Anne!
